Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) face a number of headwinds: deployment challenges in reaching rural and remote populations, access to affordable advanced network infrastructure, generating the scale necessary to reinvest in and expand operations, and a shifting regulatory landscape. Add to these obstacles the COVID-19 pandemic and its disruptions to WISPs day-to-day operations and the global telecommunications supply chain, and the need for WISPs to have access to capital becomes clear.
In this webinar, we plan to provide a briefing on the various sources of funding that WISPs may seek to access as they work to sustain and expand their service to the communities that rely on them, including both government funding programs and capital market opportunities.
