Late last week, the FCC announced new rules to implement the $3.2 billion Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB), helping at-risk households stay on the Internet during the pandemic. With the new program coming online soon, broadband providers will be able to be reimbursed for discounted broadband service via a simple and straightforward process which invites the widest array of program participants, including smaller providers.
